Average customer review:Product Description
"I have been dreaming of having my own line of cast iron cookware since I started my restaurant. I just adore the way it holds heat like nobody’s business, and allows me to slow-cook and simmer everything from soups to stews, to hearty chili and braises. The enamel coating is not only gorgeous, but makes cleanup fast and easy." - Paula Deen

Good Deal
I bought this pot at a discount store last week at a bargain price. So far, I have only used it to cook a roast, which turned out tender and delicious. The pot is large, and I had to remove the top oven rack in order for it to fit into the oven, but that was no problem. Mine is green, and fits well with my kitchen decor, so I just leave it out on a shelf to look pretty. The knob is attached to the lid with a screw, and seems to be very sturdy. The lid to this pot does not have the "dimples" on the under side that the Mario Batali and other pots have. It was very easy to clean, even after reheating the leftovers in it. Just a little soaking and it came clean quickly just using a dish cloth and dish detergent. I believe this will prove a very worth-while investment.
Great for grilling veggies and just about everything
This casserole is AWESOME! It grills vegetables perfectly due to the cast iron construction. The porcelain doesn't chip with repeated use and nothing sticks to it, so it's a DREAM TO CLEAN!
I love it for grilling veggies and creating all sorts of wonderful vegetable, potato types of dishes.
It's amazing!
